About Us

Cultural Exchange Network founder, Kayo, has very close ties to Japan. Kayo is a native of Japan, and her family still lives in Tokyo.

In the spring of 2005, Kayo organized her first cultural exchange trip together with Ms. Eiko Ishii, the founder of the non-profit youth organization "D&D Network" in Japan. The trip was a success.

The Japanese children visited a local Atlanta elementary school to share their own culture and to observe and learn American culture in a like-age environment for over a week. During their non-school time they went on educational trips, and stayed with American host families that had children attending the school.

This is what we are all about - the exchange of culture and ideas, learning for all ages, and broadening the mind for all involved.
